Published under the Builderman account, the ROBLOX World Headquarters (also known as "ROBLOX HQ") is a big brickbattle map that was created in late 2006. It is a virtual representation of the ROBLOX headquarters, with its environment being a mix of different destructible structures scattered around the map.

Gameplay

The map consists of the two connected glass towers with a "ROBLOX HQ" sign; surrounded by a rocky mountain, a river, and a variety of different spherical trees.

Tower 1

On release, ROBLOX HQ had only one tower. On its side it has a big red "R", and holds the following things inside the building:

Image Name Info
Basement A basement that housed three staff members with their computers: Erik (erik.cassel), Matt (Matt Dusek), and Telamon (Shedletsky)
Crates A separate room inside the basement which houses only crates. You can see the window bars, which look like it's actually a prison!
First Floor A large room that includes the stairs to the basement, and a staircase to the second floor
Second Floor Includes a railing, Builderman's office, and a ladder that leads to the third floor
Builderman's Office Sporting two big plants, a desk with some paperwork, and a huge 'royal' chair
Ladder Goes up to the tippy top of the tower

Tower 2

As of June 14th 2007, a second tower was created that was essentially a mirrored version of the first one.[5] The game's name was briefly changed to "Mirror Universe ROBLOX World Headquarters" to reflect this addition, and the changes to the game were as follows:

Image Name Info
The R The second tower is rotated 90 degrees from the first tower's orientation, making the red "R" face forward
The Basement(s) The first tower's basement now includes two new interns, Wookong and Clockwork; while the second tower includes only Matt, and another new staff member "Stoecker"
Bridge Both towers are now connected by a small bridge to their respective staircase
Erik's Office The second tower's office is Erik's, while Telamon is off to the side for... whatever reason.
Skybox The skybox changed from the default sky, to the "Broken Sky" uploaded by Telamon

Other Structures

Image Name Info
Castle Entrance On top of the mountain, it bears resemblance to an early ROBLOX minigame place made during beta, "King Arthur's Castle"[6]
Hospital Includes a two tables, a chair, and on the outside a slide and seesaw
Island Castle This castle is half-destroyed after the second tower was added
Fly Parts Four secret sets of "Fly Parts" — taking advantage of a bug that allowed players to fly if they were attached to their avatars. Removed after the second tower was added.

Tools

On release, there were only four hopperbins. After the second tower was added, they were removed and replaced with the modern set of brickbattle weapons (+ JetBoots)
